Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef and onion. Break apart the meat and cook until the onion is translucent and the meat is cooked through. Drain the excess grease.
  3. Add the salt and taco sauce. Stir to combine and then remove from the heat.
  4. Place the flour tortillas on a baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle about 3 Tbsp of shredded cheese on each tortilla.
  5. Place the crunchy taco shells on another baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Place both baking sheets in the oven for 3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crunchy tacos are crisp.
  7. Remove from the oven and carefully wrap the flour tortillas around the outside of the crunchy tacos while they're still hot. Stack the tacos in a row on one of the baking sheets.
  8. Fill each taco with the seasoned meat mixture and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  9. Bake for an additional 3 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  10. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream, Ranch Seasoning Blend, and hot sauce to make a spicy ranch dressing.
  11. Top the tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, lime juice, and spicy ranch, if desired.
