Sloppy Joe Sliders
Servings:
Classic sloppy joe filling with a tangy ketchup-mustard sauce served on toasted Aloha Rolls.
Ingredients
Produce
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
Meat & Seafood
- 1 lb ground beef
Pantry / Dry Goods
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 (12-ct) package Aloha Rolls
Sauces & Condiments
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 Tbsp mustard
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef and onion. Break apart the meat and cook until the onion is translucent and the meat is cooked through. Drain the excess grease.
- Add the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, slice the entire package of Aloha Rolls in half and open like one big sandwich. Place the two open faces on a sheet pan and broil until toasted.
- Serve the sloppy joe meat inside the toasted Aloha Rolls.
